Summer Seline Coyle

Literary Feminist Novelist

ABOUT

Summer Seline Coyle (B.A. Sociology and English Literature) is the author of five literary novels.

Summer was a published poet at the age of four, and won multiple awards. Her book of poetry SONGS OF THE SUNS was published in Europe by the publishing company which sponsored the competitions. In her teens she won Honorable Mention in two Canada-wide short story competitions and had her poetry published widely. In her adult life, she held an editorial position for a literary journal, and held board positions for a literary journal and a provincial writers federation. She had her poetry published in literary journals and articles published in newspapers. Two of her plays were workshopped at Theater New Brunswick.   Her aspiration was to be a novelist, however, her lifelong PTSD from her horrific childhood trauma and adult trauma made it impossible for her to complete her projects. As a sexagenarian, on a path to healing, she has written and published five literary feminist novels.
