MISSION STATEMENT

My writing is a tribute to all the gentle, sensitive souls who were trampled on, whose inner light was extinguished because it shone too bright. My work exposes the dark underbelly of mainstream society – the elitism, bigotry, homophobia, and the marginalization of the vulnerable members of society. I wish to be a voice for those who are wounded, exploited, and rejected.     

My personal history of extreme abuse, neglect, and injustice is the driving force behind the empathy, tenderness, and passion in my portrayal of my diverse characters. Through my fiction, I hope to raise public awareness, and be a healing voice for other survivors. I create complex, richly-woven plots. Though my books are dark, violent and explicit, they are balanced by humor and tenderness.
